✨ Camp LeVoy Theme: Something Bigger✨

This summer, Camp LeVoy members are discovering what it means to be part of Something Bigger.

Week 1 learning excursion included a scavenger hunt around Sturgeon Bay. Members practiced safely walking during field trips and had a great time pointing our Sturgeon Bay landmarks!

From learning excursions that bring history, nature, culture, and community to life, to our weekly service learning projects and World Wide Wednesday programs, every experience encourages curiosity, connection, and awareness. Through this summer theme members are exploring their local community while gaining a deeper understanding of how they connect to the world around them.

We can’t wait to continue to highlight the programs, activities and community partners that will help make this summer memorable for over 180 youth this summer!

Boys & Girls Club of Door County creates transformative opportunities for youth through educational enrichment, mentorship, and hands-on learning experiences. Their STEAM for Girls of the Future program will engage girls in circuitry and electronics projects that build confidence, problem-solving skills, and interest in STEM careers while introducing participants to women role models in engineering and technology.

For the first time in the history of our Blues, Brews, Bourbon & BBQ event, we have a limited number of tickets available to the public!

☀️ Camp LeVoy is OFFICIALLY in session! ☀️

What an incredible first day at Camp LeVoy! We were so thrilled to see over 100 smiling faces walk through our doors today. With 180+ members registered this summer, we know the best is still yet to come! 🎉

This week we're diving into our theme: 'Community & Me' and there's no better way to kick things off than with Ms. Chelsea leading Groups 1-5 in a group assembly this morning. Watching our kids come together, connect, and start building those community values from day one is exactly what Camp LeVoy is all about.

What a way to wrap up an incredible year of after-school programming at the Boys & Girls Club of Door County!

This final week was packed with sunshine, learning how to make balloon animals, movie day fun, and a cookout complete with ice cream sundaes to celebrate all the memories we made together. We said goodbye to some fall staff members and volunteers and welcomed returning staff who are excited to join us for summer.

Most importantly, we reflected on a year filled with growth, learning, laughter, and friendships that will last far beyond the school year.

We are so proud of every young person who showed up, tried new things, supported one another, and made our Club community so special. Thank you to our staff, families, volunteers, and supporters for helping create a safe and fun place for kids to learn and thrive each day.

Here’s to an amazing year and an even brighter summer ahead!

As a reminder Club is closed as we prepare for Camp LeVoy. This year’s theme is Something Bigger!

We will see all of our registered camp members on Monday, June 8th and encourage all to attend the Open House on Wednesday, June 4th from 4pm - 5:30pm.

Marchant's Foods, Inc. in Sturgeon Bay is hosting a Brat Fry Fundraiser, and every brat sold helps support kids right here in Door County.

🕙 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM (or until sellout)
🌭 $4.50/brat

For every brat sold, $0.50 goes directly to the Boys & Girls Club of Door County and ALL tips collected today will be donated too.
