Special Olympics Delivery Squad stands in front of the more than 400 snacks, 300 pieces of fruit, more than 300 bottles of water, more than 100 bottles of Gatorade as well as some dry goods that were delivered to the Littleton Public Schools today in preparation for Monday's Special Olympics event.
Our club - with Mary, Rich and Chuck at the helm - was able to get donations for ALL of this so that the athletes and volunteers can stay hydrated and fed while competing!
We will also be staffing the event in conjunction with the Rotary of Littleton club as well as the Special Olympics of Massachusetts!

🇺🇸 Stow Veterans Day Breakfast 2025 🇺🇸
Our club is so honored to co-organize this annual event with Troop 1 Stow every year. They say many hands make light work and we had a lot of hands today! Troop 1 was out in force helping set up, break down and serve food. The Interact Club of Nashoba HS helped greet and talk with our Veterans. The can do attitude and hard work of these young folks brings us so much hope for our future!
Our Keynote Speaker this year was Lt Colonel (retired) Susan Stephens who recalled her career and life in the military - she made us laugh and cry and we were all riveted!
Thank you to all the local dignitaries who attended! Senator Jamie Eldridge, Rep Kate Hogan, Town of Stow, MA Town Administrator Denise Dembkoski, Asst Town Manager Tina McAndrew, Stow Police Department Chief Michael Sallese, Town Moderator James Salvie along with several of our Police Officers!
Special Shoutout to our sponsors - First and foremost - The Pleasant Cafe Inc. who donated and prepared all of the delicious food today! Also thank you to Honey Pot Hill Orchards for their award winning Cider Donuts and Cider, and to Brad & Karen Martin, Dream Vacations for the plates and silverware and Jacky Foster - MJT Boston Group for the tableclothes and many other needed items.
Thank you too to Gigi Lenguiza at Stow Friends of the Council on Aging and Stow Council on Aging for all the help getting the word out to all of our amazing Veterans and for always supporting them throughout the year.
