The 5th Annual Light Up Stony Point Holiday Parade is coming this December — and we’re looking for participants to help us light up Stony Point! 🚓🚒🚚🎅🎄

Businesses, community organizations, first responders, clubs, families and anyone with a vehicle, truck, trailer or float that can be decorated for the holidays are invited to join us!

🇺🇸 America 250-themed decorations are encouraged!
🎶 Add some holiday spirit!

With our nation’s 250th anniversary being celebrated throughout 2026, participants are encouraged to add a little red, white and blue or an America 250 theme to their holiday display if they’d like.

🎃 WE NEED TRUNKS! 🚗🍬

Stony Point PAL is looking for families, businesses, organizations, teams, and community groups to participate in our annual Halloween Night Trunk or Treat Contest on Friday, October 23, 2026 at Kirkbride Hall, 5 Patriot Hills Dr Stony Point, NY 10980.

Decorate your vehicle, hand out candy or giveaways, and help us create a fun and festive evening for local families!

🏆 Prizes will be awarded to participating trunks
Featuring a special America 250 “Stars, Stripes & Spooks” Award
🍬 PAL will have a limited amount of extra candy available for registered trunks while supplies last.

There is no fee to participate.

Trunk or Treat: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
📍 Kirkbride Hall – 5 Patriot Hills Drive, Stony Point

Registered trunks are also welcome to stay for the FREE drive-in showing of the original Hocus Pocus at 7:30 PM!

👋Meet Bill, the owner of Dynamic Junk Removals.

🧡Bill started Dynamic Junk RemovALS with a mission that goes beyond junk removal: helping support the fight against ALS after losing his Dad to the disease in September 2024.

🚓He has served in Rockland County law enforcement since 2008 and has called Orange County home for the past 15 years. Both communities mean a great deal to him.

🚚 For Bill, junk removal is about more than hauling things away, it’s about helping neighbors move forward. From clearing a garage and preparing for a move to handling an estate cleanout or simply removing unwanted clutter, every job is a chance to make life a little easier.

On September 16, the Haverstraw PBA and Stony Point PBA held our 6th annual North Rockland PBA golf outing. Our largest fundraiser of the year raises funds that we reinvest into our respective communities especially as the holidays approach. We aim to make this an event our players look forward to every year and it wouldn’t be possible without our many sponsors including, but not limited to, US Salt, One Oak Medical, Rockland County PBA, Cioffi Services, Quinn Law Firm, and Kayal Orthopaedic Center. Huge thanks to Patriot Hills Golf Club, The Patriot Lounge, Philip J Rotella Memorial Golf Course, Lynch's Restaurant, and Krucker’s Picnic Grove for their hospitality.

25 Years. Never Forget.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the Stony Point Police Benevolent Association joins our community and our nation in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the first responders who courageously answered the call, and the countless survivors, responders, and families who continue to carry the lasting effects of that day.

A quarter century has passed, but our promise remains the same.

We remember the lives lost.
We honor the heroes.
We stand with those who continue to suffer from 9/11 related illnesses.

September 11, 2001. Never Forget.

The Stony Point PBA is proud to welcome the newest members of our police family.

Police Officer Peter Costabile joins us with prior law enforcement experience from the NYPD and brings that experience with him as he begins the next chapter of his career here in Stony Point.

Police Officer Recruit Owen Smith begins his law enforcement career with our department and will attend the Rockland County Police Academy this fall.

For our members, there is an added point of pride in welcoming Owen. He is a graduate of the Fall 2016 North Rockland Youth Police Academy, making it especially meaningful to now see him return years later to begin his own career in law enforcement.

On behalf of the entire Stony Point PBA, we are proud to welcome Peter and Owen to the PBA family. We wish them both long, safe and successful careers, and we look forward to standing beside them in the years ahead.

The Stony Point PBA extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Nora Malloy.

Nora was a familiar and much loved presence at our annual Senior Brunch for many years. Her warmth, humor and unmistakable personality always helped make the event special. Known affectionately by many as the “unofficial mayor of Stony Point,” Nora had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcomed, remembered and cared for.

During her nearly 50 years working in the North Rockland Central School District, including many years after her official retirement, Nora touched countless young lives. Generations of students, families and coworkers will fondly remember her kindness, her smile and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her.

We are grateful to have these photos and memories of Nora enjoying the brunch, surrounded by friends and members of the community she loved so deeply. She was truly such a sweet lady, and her passing is a tremendous loss to Stony Point.

Nora will be fondly remembered by all of us.

May she rest in eternal peace.
