The New York State Education Department announced today that applications are now open for the summer cycle of the 2026 Empire State Arts Scholarship Program. 🎨

With awards of up to $2,000, the program helps remove financial barriers so high need students in grades 6–12 can participate in New York State-based summer programs in dance, music, visual arts, media arts, and theatre. Shop from more than 100 vendors, enjoy caroling by NRHS music students, let the Key Club help with gift wrapping and stop by the bookstore for NRHS gear. Plus, grab a bite from the food trucks parked outside.

Another successful NRTA Thanksgiving Food Drive in the books. On Friday, 15 carloads of food items, 25 plus turkeys and hams, and Shop Rite gift cards were delivered to the Neary Elementary's Family Resource Center. All food items will be dispersed to our district's food pantries. Also, a few teachers and retirees volunteered at the Regional Food Bank Thanksgiving Meal Distribution on Saturday at Clover Stadium in Pomona. The NRTA always shows up to help our community!

SRP was held on Tuesday, November 18th. Thank you to all of our NRTA Teaching Assistants. We appreciate all of the work you do in our schools' classrooms.
