Get ready to putt your way to a good cause, folks! We're looking for all golf enthusiasts and hole sponsors to tee off with us in our annual tournament. Last year's outing was great and with your help in supporting the Seals with all our fundraising last year we handed over $100,000 to families with kids fighting tough health battles. We're gunning for an even bigger payday this year, so let's get this par-tee started! Local businesses looking to donate gift cards would be appreciated

Going to be totally honest with you all, with this weather we had no idea what to expect today. But sub zero temperatures couldn’t scare away a warm hearted community. We can’t thank you enough for coming down today to show 3 little  girls and their families that we are here for them. Once again, the amount of support that we get leaves us speechless. We have so many people to thank for helping us pull this off today. First and foremost the town and Highway department of Stony Point for clearing the area and making it possible to even hold the event. You guys are the best!!! Thank you to all the town of Haverstraw workers that help out . Thank you to the Nam Knights for continuing the tradition of bringing the families down to the event.Thank you to all the firefighters,police department, ambulance personnel  for keeping the event safe . Thank you to all the elected officials that came out and showed your continued support. Thank you to Donnna Jean and all the hard working young ladies at the bake sale. Thank you to the Rockland County pipe and drum for once again leading our march to the water, you guys rock. Thank you to Shea Nolan for singing thhe National Anthem so beautifully. To the immaculate conception, hospitality group we are so grateful for you guys staying out there today in that weather cooking the hotdog and hamburgers, there are almost no words to tell you guys how much we appreciate all you do for us each year. Thank you to ‘Ruck the Plunge’  strives for service for coming down and for once again, raising money for the seals. I hope I didn’t forget anybody, so we thank you all again for freezing for a reason with us today.

We understand it's bitterly cold, but the show will go on. Our time line will be shortened. Parade will be between 11:30- 12. If you come down, dress appropriately. Ok folks the show will go on. We are very aware of the incoming weather and want to have a good time but a safe time for everyone involved. The buses and road closures will go as originally scheduled. Unfortunately we cannot get into the river, the ice is too thick and it would be dangerous for anyone to enter. Please dress appropriately for the weather . Totally optional if people come down like years past and get into their bathing suits, and we will have our traditional march from the parking lot to the front of the stage. After that we can do snow angels if you like. We will have two warming tents. It will be a condensed version of the event. We will have hamburgers and hotdogs, chili. Tea and coffee. We will have the bake sale also. By 11:30 we will pull the raffle tickets and the families will arrive and march to the sea wall will follow soon after. We hope to see you all that day for a great event. Please share. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We definitely will be “freezing for a reason “
