đź“–This year, the Elementary School Creative Writing Class students worked on their own picture books for the end-of-year projects. On the last day of school, they showcased the amazing books they created, with different poetry and short stories they wrote all by themselves.

✨Taught by our wonderful teacher, Amanda Martocello, the Creative Writing Class is all about dreaming up magical worlds and epic adventures. Every Sunday, students wrote exciting stories, created unforgettable characters, and explored inspiring short stories and poems. We are so proud of their creativity, imagination, and hard work!

On the last day of school, SchoolNova hosted its annual Art Exhibition showcasing the results of a year filled with creativity, learning, and artistic growth.

The amazing works displayed at the exhibition reflected the imagination, talent, and artistic skills our students developed in Art classes throughout the year with the guidance of our wonderful teachers, Anna Koh and Zachary DeStefano.

Congratulations to all our student artists — we are sure you enjoyed creating these works as much as we enjoyed admiring them!

We are proud and excited to announce that SchoolNova student and teaching assistant Harry Gao has been invited to the 2026 Mathematics Olympiad Summer Program (MOP) — a prestigious three-week intensive problem-solving camp designed to prepare outstanding high school students for the International Mathematical Olympiad.

In 2025, Harry earned a perfect score on the AMC 12B and, following his exceptional performance on the AIME, was invited to participate in the USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO), one of the nation’s most prestigious invitation-only mathematics competitions for high school students. Based on USAMO results, only about 5% of top scored participants nationwide are invited to MOP, making this an extraordinary achievement.

We congratulate Harry on this remarkable accomplishment and wish him the very best on his journey to future success!

Harry has been participating in Math and Physics competitions with SchoolNova since 2018 and later continued his competitive journey at Ward Melville High School. He attends SchoolNova’s Advanced Physics and Advanced Math Clubs, where our dedicated teachers — David Frenklakh , Alexander Abanov , Sergey Syritsyn, and Alexander Kirillov — guide students through challenging problems and help them prepare for some of the world’s most prestigious exams and olympiads.

Did you know that French is spoken by more than 300 million people and is an official language in 29 countries across multiple continents? 🌍

At SchoolNova, our wonderful teacher Marleine Chiofalo brings her passion for this beautiful language into the classroom, inspiring our students every day.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news: this year, SchoolNova students earned 3 Gold medals and 6 Silver medals at the 2026 AATF Le Grand Concours (National French Contest) — a prestigious nationwide competition for French learners in Grades 1–12! 🎉

Congratulations to all of our participants for their hard work and dedication, and special applause to our medalists! 👏
And of course, a big shoutout to Madame Chiofalo for her guidance and inspiration.

Based on the Olympiad results, approximately 20 students will be selected for the next stage — the U.S. Physics Team.

Congratulations to our students, and best of luck in the next round!
