Suffolk NOW Alert: 25th Anniversary 9/11 Events and Resources
1). LIFE AFTER 9/11 25 Years Later:
Weaves together stories from the past 25 years of six individuals who were seprately yet directly impacted by the events of 9/11-Brenda Berkman (FDNY), Anne Van Hine and Kate Richardson (FDNY widows), Gerry Bogacz and Desiree Bouchat (Survivors), Anthony Palmeri (Recovery Worker). Created by playwright and director Donna Katz. A NYS Council of the Arts Program.

The efforts of Brenda Berkman helped to significantly pave the way for women in NYC to enter fields previously unavailable to them: firefighters, police officers and sanitation workers. She worked with NOW’s Legal Defense and Education Fund to make a 12 minute video, The Women of Ground Zero.

The Staller Center for the Arts is partnering with Stony Brook's WTC Health & Wellness Program to present a free encore screening of its 2011 selection, 9/11: An American Requiem.
