Gravitas is the fully online, global extension of The Stony Brook School (SBS), a 100-year-old college prep school serving 7-12th graders on Long Island, New York.

Mrs. Giron-Melendez has taught Spanish level 1 through AP to grades 6-12. She strives to challenge her students to view language acquisition as a pathway to loving their neighbor.

Additionally, Mrs. Giron-Melendez has a passion for student leadership and has even led training on leadership and character development!
