good morning this is Joyce, I was just looking back over the last 26 years ago when Chaplain White and I started to Support Group along with another mother. I’ve always noticed when new families come. It takes them two or three times of showing up before they get brave enough to walk in and when they walk in, they feel right at home because everyone in that room is just like them. it’s a comforting feeling when you first come if you don’t feel like speaking, you don’t have to you can just listen. You’ll feel right at home though and that’s what we want so just something to think about when you drive around the block and don’t wanna stop scared, you don’t know what to expect. You’re gonna be right at home just something I thought I would like to share. Thank you.

At our
support Group meeting this Thursday, May 21 we’re going to talk about contacting the media to do stories on these murderers that are getting out early or getting their sentences reduced. They need to hear from the families now if you can come to the meeting I hope you will so we can discuss this and then we’ll go to the media. Will let the district attorney know what we’re doing if he wants to get involved in law-enforcement, but we need to stand up and say something this is getting out of hand so I hope you can come. I’ve had three families show me their murders got their certain sentences reduced one was 25 to life and he’s only 17 years. This isn’t good so if you can come to the meeting and you want to be a part of it, let me know just show up to the meeting 924 N Filbert st Stockton the meeting starts at 7 PM. Thank you.
