Congratulations to Leadership Stockton alumnus, Lance Morrow (LS '23) on your new role as Principal of Claudia Landeen School!

We are proud to see Leadership Stockton alumni continuing to lead and make a positive impact in our community. Wishing you and your school community a wonderful and successful year ahead!

We welcome our new captain, Lance Morrow! As Claudia Landeen’s principal, Mr. Morrow continues an exemplary 37-year educational career. This school year, he looks forward to meeting Mariner families and staff.

Mr. Morrow first joined Lincoln Unified School District in 2002 as an assistant principal at Lincoln High School. He later became the principal of Colonial Heights for three school years before serving in administrative roles at other districts. For the 2021-22 school year, Mr. Morrow led Lincoln Unified Adult Education and our district’s CTE program. Before accepting his new role at Claudia Landeen, Mr. Morrow returned to Colonial Heights for three more years as principal.

During his time at other schools, Mr. Morrow has seen the significance of the choices students make. As an educator he aims to help students make good decisions for the right reasons, and to maintain their respect while helping them achieve their highest potential.

Mr. Morrow has always respected the Mariner spirit and the pride shown by Claudia Landeen students and staff. As our principal, he recognizes the importance of building bonds with families and earning their trust. Mr. Morrow wants parents and guardians to know that every teacher and staff member will do what is best educationally and emotionally for their students. He values rigor, relevance and relationships in all methods of learning, and looks forward to sharing these traits with all Mariners!
