Stockton Community Kitchen Stockton Community Kitchen helps aspiring food entrepreneurs turn ideas into businesses through training, mentorship, resources and hands-on support.

Building skills, creating opportunities and strengthening Stockton through food and entrepreneurship. The Stockton Community Kitchen is a local non-profit that provides mentorship to gain the necessary skills , business expertise and support for food enthusiasts. We are dedicated to providing under-resourced populations an opportunity to gain a unique experience, transferable skills, business education and access to entrepreneurial resources within foodservice. We believe that with the right resources, talent and passion we can cultivate entrepreneurs whose food businesses benefit themselves, their families, our community and our city! Located in the heart of Downtown Stockton California our kitchen was built with a team of community members and leaders based on community need. We were truly inspired by our city and recognized a need to help formalize our diverse and economically vulnerable food entrepreneurs to create sustainable legal businesses in Stockton.

Joyce Marie’s Soulfood Kitchen is growing from family traditions, more than 20 years of food industry experience, and a passion for bringing people together through authentic soul food. Owners Erick Lewis and Joyce Eutsler have spent years perfecting their recipes, serving customers, and growing their signature BBQ sauce, all while working toward their larger dream of opening their own restaurant.

Through Stockton Community Kitchen, Erick and Joyce have received one-on-one business coaching, educational workshops, and technical assistance covering business planning, licensing and permits, marketing, grant opportunities, and strategies for growing their business. Today, they’re continuing to build awareness of their BBQ sauce while creating a stronger foundation for the future.

We’re proud to be part of their journey and to support local food entrepreneurs as they turn their experience, recipes, and ideas into growing businesses.
