🎄❤️ My Christmas wish this year? A family who will never leave me behind again. 🥹🐾
Hi everyone! My name is Jade, and I’m a 7 month old German Shepherd mix. I’ve had a pretty rough start to life, but I’m hoping that before the holidays, I’ll finally have a family to call my very own.
You see, I actually used to have a home. But one day, my family packed up their belongings, moved away, and left me behind. 💔
I didn’t understand why they didn’t take me. I would wander the streets searching for scraps of food, but I always found my way back to that same abandoned house. It was the only home I knew.
While trying to survive, I was also suffering from demodex mange. I was underweight, my skin was itchy and inflamed, and I was losing my fur. But despite everything, I never lost my happy personality. I still loved greeting people!
Thankfully, someone noticed me and shared my story online. Animal control eventually picked me up and brought me to the shelter. I was scared, sad, and confused. I didn’t know what was going to happen to me.
That’s when Hungry Tailz Rescue came along and gave me a second chance! They pulled me from the shelter and placed me into a loving foster home where I could finally get the care I needed and just enjoy being a puppy again. ❤️
Now that you know my past, let me tell you why I’d make an AMAZING addition to your family! 🤭
🐶 I LOVE playing with other dogs!
🐱 I’m good with cats too, but I’m a playful girl, so dog-savvy cats would be best!
👧 I absolutely love kids!
🦴 I’m VERY treat motivated! Seriously, I’ll do just about anything for a yummy treat. I already know how to sit, and I have SO much potential when it comes to training. If you’re looking for a smart girl to work with and teach new things, I’m your girl!
🏡 I do great in my kennel and am potty trained once I learn my new environment and where the doggy door is.
💦 I LOVE playing in water! Splashing around is one of my favorite things.
🐾 And here’s something adorable about me… when I want attention, I’ll reach out and give you my paw. It’s my little way of asking for some love. 🥹
I’m playful, smart, affectionate, and full of personality. I have so much potential, and I just need someone willing to put in the time to help me become the best dog I can be.
But there’s one thing I want more than all the toys, treats, and presents in the world.
I want a family who will keep me forever.
Someone who won’t give up on me when life gets busy, when I make puppy mistakes, or when things aren’t perfect. Someone who understands that bringing me home means loving me for the rest of my life.
I’ve already experienced what it’s like to be left behind, and I really don’t want to go through that again.
This holiday season, I don’t need a present under the tree. I’m just wishing for a place beside it, surrounded by people who love me. 🎄❤️
