🩵 Meet Lupine (“Lou”) 🩵

Lou is an adorable 8 week old orange tabby who is officially looking for his forever family!

Lou’s story started with heartbreak. He, his siblings, and their mama were rescued while still nursing after their feline family was tragically attacked and killed by street dogs. Thankfully, Lou, his siblings, and their mom were hidden away in a safe spot and survived the ordeal.

Lou is full of love, curiosity, and kitten energy. He is incredibly sweet, loves to play, and gets along wonderfully with other cats. His days are filled with chasing toys, wrestling with his siblings, and soaking up affection from anyone willing to give it.

Lou will be neutered before adoption and is ready to find a family that will love and cherish him for the rest of his life.

💕 Little Update on Our 9 Precious Babies 💕

These sweet puppies are doing well. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported them so far and to the amazing foster who opened their home to these little ones. ❤️

We’re still not quite sure what breed they are! Our best guess is possibly a Shepherd mix, Pitty mix, or maybe a combination of both. What do you see when you look at them? We’d love to hear your breed guesses in the comments! 🐶✨

We also want to send a HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated supplies so far. Your generosity is helping these little ones get the care they need during this critical stage of life. 🥰

With 9 hungry mouths to feed, puppy formula is being used up very quickly, and we are already preparing for our next restock.

🚨 URGENT: 9 BOTTLE BABIES NEED OUR HELP 🚨

We received a call from the shelter asking if we could take in 9 newborn bottle babies. Without rescue placement, they were at risk of being euthanized the same day.

We were able to secure a foster willing to take them, but not until Tuesday. Thankfully, the shelter acted quickly and found a temporary foster to care for them until then. ❤️

We also want to give a HUGE thank you to the amazing foster mom who immediately stepped up when she learned these babies’ lives were on the line. Bottle feeding newborn puppies is an around the clock commitment that requires dedication, patience, and a whole lot of love. Because she said “yes,” these puppies were given a chance to live. We are beyond grateful for her compassion and willingness to help when they needed it most. ❤️

However, 9 bottle babies is A LOT for one person to handle. If you have experience bottle feeding puppies and would be interested in helping split this litter with the foster taking over on Tuesday, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

These babies arrived at the shelter without their mom. We don’t know what happened to her, and that breaks our hearts. While we may never know their story, we are committed to giving these little ones every chance at a happy future filled with love, compassion, and care.

🌹 Meet Rosie 🌹

Rosie is a 4–5 year old Bull Terrier with a past that has taken her on many adventures, but through it all she has never stopped loving people.

Many people may recognize Rosie as the dog who was hit by a car on the streets of Stockton. She suffered a lung contusion and a hip dislocation and ended up at the shelter in a very unusual situation. Although people claimed to be her owners, nobody ever came for her. Once her stray hold was up, she was transferred into our care.

Rosie had been living in homeless encampments around Stockton. Her nails had become so overgrown that they were embedded into her paw pads.

Rosie is truly one of those dogs that is impossible not to fall in love with. She is dog friendly, cat friendly, kid friendly, potty trained, kennel trained, rides great in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. She is the definition of an easy dog.

Her favorite things in life are food, comfy beds, naps, and being close to her people. Rosie is a professional couch potato and proudly carries the title of “chunky monkey.” If you’re looking for a dog that wants to go everywhere with you and then curl up next to you at the end of the day, Rosie is your girl.

Bull Terriers aren’t very common these days, making Rosie even more special. She does have environmental allergies, particularly to grass, which can cause her skin to flare up. To keep her comfortable, she receives a monthly allergy injection, allergy medication, weekly medicated baths, and mousse treatments. Thankfully, it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She is happy, comfortable, and lives life like every dog should.

After everything she’s been through, Rosie isn’t asking for much. She doesn’t need fancy things or grand adventures. She just wants a soft bed, good food, and someone to love her forever.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOR JUNE 🚨

June needs your help. 💔

The foster situation we thought we had lined up for her unfortunately didn’t work out, and now she urgently needs a safe place to go. we’re desperately trying to find either a foster or forever home for this sweet girl.

When June was rescued from the shelter with her two puppies, she was scared, withdrawn, and unsure of people. Her puppies were adopted quickly, but June has been left behind waiting for someone to give her a chance.

Thankfully, she has been with an amazing foster who has helped her come out of her shell. With patience and kindness, June is learning that not all humans are bad. She has made incredible progress and continues to grow more confident every day.

Once June trusts you, she is the sweetest companion. She loves to follow her person around like a little shadow and simply be near you. She is gentle, loving, and deserves a family who will continue helping her blossom.

• Good with most dogs with proper introductions

June has done everything we’ve asked of her. She’s been patient while watching other dogs get adopted, and now it’s her turn. She deserves a safe place where she can continue building trust and finally experience the love she’s waited so long for.
