A new school year has begun at SEMCA, and CrossPointe Center for the Trades is honored to walk alongside students. Through our dual‑enrollment partnership, students grow in hands‑on trade training, as well as in Christian formation and S.E.T. Readiness for Life — the social, emotional, and transformational skills that support them in life and work.

We’re grateful for the CrossPointe community God is shaping — a place of growth, encouragement, and new beginnings. “Behold, I am doing a new thing…” (Isaiah 43:19). We trust that God is at work in these students, forming their character, strengthening their skills, and preparing them for the future He is calling them into.

We pray God’s blessing over your studies, your training, and the future you’re building. May this year be filled with learning, development, and the confidence that your work matters.

What an incredible day at CrossPointe! A group of teens and young adults from Camp Restore Detroit visited campus to explore real opportunities in the skilled trades — and their excitement was contagious.

This fall, students will take their next step with us as they begin training in HVAC, Carpentry, and Electrical. With supports in place, they’ll be gaining hands‑on experience and stepping into real work by the end of their first semester.

We’re honored to walk with them as they discover their gifts, build confidence, and move toward meaningful, purpose‑filled careers.
