Lunch will follow the weigh-in and will be
held at the AuSable Inn Restaurant

Big Fish: There is a big fish payout to the three heaviest fish.
1st big fish is awarded 50% of the total pool,
2nd big fish 30% and 3rd big fish 20% payout.

Event fee $15 includes shore lunch. $10 optional big fish fee.
If you register for the event, you are automatically included
in the big fish competition unless you opt-out of big fish during your registration.

Fee: $25 includes $10 big fish

2026 Lake St Clair Perch Outing
Saturday, September 12 at Harlen Ensign Boat Launch.
Start time 7am and end at 1pm.
Weigh-in at 1:30pm and Lunch is at Harlen Ensign parking lot.
There is $15 entry fee which includes lunch
and an optional $10 Big Fish fee.
Best 5 perch by weight. Minimum length 8 in.
Ties will be determined by length.

Note: Gaspare is dealing with some health issues.
I will be the Outing Coordinator for this event.

Big fish will be 50% of the entry money for largest perch by weight.
2nd place will get 30%. 3rd will get 20% of the pot.

At this time of the year, typically the best locations for perch
are out by the shipping channel near markers 26 - 28.
Down by the dumping grounds off 9 mile
and the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club or around marker 12
can also be good but it a long run from the Harley Ensign launch
Shallow water anywhere near the w**d beds are other areas to try.

TOURNAMENT START: 5:30 a.m. (Honor System Start – Roll Call will be taken by Port Captain within 1 hour after start)

FISH CALLS: Channel 72 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

PULL LINES: 12:30 p.m.

WEIGH-IN: 2:00 p.m. (must be in line by) Lions Pavilion at west end of County Launch. Luncheon will be provided courtesy of Port Captain
