🎓🎉 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2026 IREDELL COUNTY PARTNERSHIP ACADEMY GRADUATES! 🎉

We are excited to celebrate five individuals who recently completed our Fall 2026 Iredell County Partnership Academy!

Over the past two weeks, participants spent time learning about what it takes to work in early care and education. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and interactive trainings, they covered topics including child development, lesson planning, playground safety, safe sleep practices, and First Aid & CPR.

A big congratulations to all five of our graduates! We appreciate the time, effort, and enthusiasm you brought to the Academy. We hope you are walking away with new knowledge, confidence, and skills that will help you as you begin or continue your journey in early childhood education.

We also want to thank Jennifer Peterson and our ICPYC team for helping make this training possible!

At ICPYC, we know how important early childhood educators are to the children and families in our community. We're proud to play a part in helping prepare and support those who choose this important work.

Not just an event, but a month of learning, celebration, and community.
❤️ Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, Small Beginnings Child Development Center incorporated Hispanic culture and traditions into their lesson plans, giving children opportunities to learn and celebrate throughout the month. They wrapped up the celebration with a special parade, bringing children, families, and staff together in a fun way!

We love seeing learning come to life through meaningful experiences that celebrate culture and community. 🎉

Our Kaleidoscope Play and Learn (KPL) families celebrated Halloween this week with a little trick-or-treating around the office! 🎃👻 We loved seeing all the creative costumes, big smiles, and excitement as everyone enjoyed some Halloween fun together. Thank you to our KPL families for making it such a fun and festive week. 🧡

Fire Safety Fun with KPL. 🔥🧯🚒

To wrap up two weeks of learning about fire safety, our Kaleidoscope Play & Learn (KPL) families enjoyed a special visit from Statesville Fire Department’s Station 3!

Our little learners had the opportunity to explore a real fire truck, learn about fire safety, and discover the protective gear firefighters wear to keep themselves safe. Families also enjoyed an interactive story time that brought our fire safety lessons to life.

Each child received a firefighter hat and a special goody bag filled with fire safety information from Sparky the Fire Dog! 🐶

A big THANK YOU to Statesville Fire Department for taking the time to provide our families with such a fun, educational, and hands-on experience!

At KPL, we believe some of the best learning happens through play, exploration, and meaningful community connections.
