Berry is back on your feed because he’s STILL looking for his person. 🐰

This handsome guy is an adult neutered male who is seriously one of the friendliest rabbits you’ll meet. He loves people and is always happy to get some attention.

He’s ready for a home of his own - maybe it’s yours? ❤️

There’s just something about a scruffy little terrier face. 🥹

Meet Dizzy! Dizzy is a ~5yo female terrier mix weighing about 45lbs.

She has a fun, playful side and loves getting out and doing things, but she also knows when it’s time to call it a day and just hang out. She’s good with other dogs, great with kids, and would love a family who wants a dog to actually be part of their everyday life.

After 2.5 years in a home, Dizzy was recently returned to the rescue through absolutely no fault of her own. The life and routine she knew suddenly changed, and now she’s back with us looking for something we really hope she never has to look for again- her true forever.

Starting over isn’t what we wanted for Dizzy, but we know there’s a family out there who will look at this sweet, scruffy girl and wonder how they ever lived without her. 🩷

She’s ready for long walks, lazy afternoons, family time, and a place where she can finally unpack her bags for good.

Sometimes they come to us because no one wanted them. Sometimes they come to us because someone loved them enough to admit they couldn’t give them what they needed anymore.

And sometimes they show up for a neuter appointment and somehow never leave. 😅

Meet our two newest little naked babies, Pico de Gallo & Easter Lily.

Pico came from a hoarding case. He was brought to us for vetting, and technically, that was supposed to be the extent of our involvement.

Then we met him.

Tiny, mostly naked, ears twice the size of his head, and just about as sweet as they come. Sometimes in rescue, you meet one that just sticks with you. Pico stuck. So Pico became one of ours.

Lily came to us after her owner’s circumstances changed and keeping her was no longer possible. She was loved before she got here, and she’ll be loved while she’s here. Sometimes that’s really all there is to the story.

And goodness, is she easy to love.

She is gentle, loving, and perfectly content to be held and fussed over. Her skin may look rough right now, but Lily herself is anything but. She’s just a sweet little doll baby who deserves to feel as good as she makes everyone around her feel.

Their little bodies have some healing to do. And it’s going to take vet visits, skin & ear treatments, medications, good nutrition, and follow-up care to get them there. It’s not the glamorous part of rescue, but it’s the part that takes a pet from simply being safe to finally feeling good again. 🫶🏼

So we’re asking our village to help us put these two little babies back together.

Rescue rarely comes down to one person writing one enormous check. More often, it’s a whole lot of people giving what they can spare. A few people sharing the post. And somehow, all of those little acts of kindness come together to give one more critter the chance to heal, be loved, and start their new beginning ✨

We’re hoping that with time, love, and the right treatment, these two will be feeling better and maybe even sporting a few more hairs soon.

But between us, we already think they’re pretty perfect (hair or no hair). 🩵

Meet Berry! 🐰🤍

Berry is a sweet, social, neutered and litter-trained bun with a great personality! He loves being held, getting brushed, exploring the house, and enjoying his snacks. He’s also very easygoing around other animals and previously lived happily with both dogs and cats.

Some people leave the world a little better than they found it. Dolly Parton was one of them. 🩵

An icon, a trailblazer, an animal lover, and a woman with a heart every bit as big as her personality. Dolly spent her life giving back, and her soft spot for animals was just another piece of who she was.

Of all the words being shared today, these stopped us in our tracks:

“We should pay more attention to how we’re just treating everything.”

People. Animals. Our communities. Our world.

The world was a little brighter with Dolly in it. We sure were lucky to have her. ✨🤍
