The information and knowledge I gained will benefit the fight in my rural area, thanks to the NMAC/USCHA 2025 Conference held in Washington, D.C. I am grateful to the presenters and workshops for empowering us to address the challenges in this presidential climate, where funding cuts have severe consequences. Cutting funding does not save lives; rather, it results in more American casualties, especially among Black and people of color populations. When I say people of color, I mean all individuals, recognizing the need for sensitivity in our language. I am unapologetic about my statements, as they highlight the harsh reality that budget cuts and healthcare reductions are causing harm to our communities. It is time for us to take a collective stand. The lady in the picture if don't is Ryan White's mother Jeanne White-Ginder
