Take a look inside our Teacher Fellowship residency space in the Mississippi Delta!

Our Fellows have the opportunity to live in Reclaimed apartments on the second floor of our ministry building on the main street in Marks. Each apartment has its own full kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom, with space for a small dining area and living area. In addition to each apartment, a common room with a living room, TV setup, and dining area provides Fellows with more space to fellowship with one another.

When you support Reclaimed’s ministry in Mississippi, you help fund our Teacher Fellowship, providing mission-minded teachers with affordable and local housing in an area that has a housing shortage and a high need for teachers.

We hope you will make plans to join us at Reclaiming 2026 on October 29th!

Together we’ll celebrate the work God is doing in Mississippi and Africa, and how he is calling us forward to engage, equip, and empower the church to bring Gospel hope to the vulnerable in 2027.

Reclaimed had the opportunity to come alongside educators at the Quitman County Elementary School and High School, providing breakfast during both schools’ first professional development sessions of the year. Corey Cooper, our Delta Ministry Director, shared at each school about Reclaimed’s mission and desire to assist and encourage teachers throughout the year.

The elementary school has a new principal this year, Ms. Presley, and we have been encouraged by her desire to support her school staff well and partner with Reclaimed.

Through each partnership, including with the Quitman County School District, Reclaimed’s mission is to bring Gospel hope to the vulnerable. We believe in the capacity of teachers to share that hope with their students, and we are thankful for our partnership with the school district and for the opportunity to share our mission with school staff and teachers and come alongside them.

Amos and Jean Claire Belknap are true examples of disciple-makers. This past fall, the Belknaps committed to traveling weekly from Jackson to Marks to help us host a discipleship program for our youth. Amos Belknap felt that the Lord had placed a need for this program on his heart, and he was faithful to act on the Lord’s call.

Our discipleship program would not have been possible without these two, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, wisdom, and encouragement they have shared with the youth of Marks. We are also thankful for the Belknaps’ home church, First Baptist Jackson, and for the many years of support this church and its volunteers have provided to Reclaimed.

Matthew 28:19–20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
