Next distribution day is June 4th at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Stanley from 4pm to 6pm. Anyone in need of assistance stretching their grocery budget and resides within the Stanley-Boyd school district, we are here to help.
Those not in our district if you make the effort to come we will serve you and will point out a closer pantry to your residence.

Boyd U.S. postal food drive on Saturday was well received today. A total of 356.2 pounds plus $10. What a great community we are fortunate to serve and live in.

Thank you Stanley Post Office workers and the community you service for the 664.6 lbs of assorted food stuffs.

Boyd we pick up on Monday so watch for the pounds then.

Next distribution day is May 7th at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Stanley from 4 to 6pm. We are in person shopping now.
If you're struggling to stretch your dollars for everything come check us out. We are a once a month pantry and would love to help you stretch your dollars.
You don't have to come every month to use our services, you will be asked to fill out our form so that we can report the number of households and people within that was served by us. See you on the 7th.

REMINDER:
Next distribution is April 2nd from 4 to 6pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Stanley. This starts our in person shopping for 2026. We allow 3 shoppers at a time. We will need everyone to fill out the paperwork for this year, so if you got it in March please bring it with you filled out and proof of residence (utility bill, drivers lic.,etc). Remember all are welcomed, whether you need it once in awhile or every month we are your local source for help with your nutrition budget.

Chippewa County Seeks Citizen Member on Aging & Disability Resource Center Board

Chippewa County is now accepting applications from individuals who desire to serve as a citizen member of the Chippewa County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Board. The ADRC Board is the appointed oversight body that represents the interests of older people, adults with physical or developmental disabilities, and Chippewa County residents in the mission and policies that govern the ADRC. The Board meets bi-monthly and consists of one county board supervisor and six citizen members who are not elected officials and have a demonstrated interest in services for older persons or persons with physical or developmental disabilities.

In accordance with state requirements and local governance, this Board opening must be filled by an adult with a physical disability, or a representative of an adult with a physical disability. Members of the Board shall reflect the diversity of the community. A per diem and mileage reimbursement is available. Citizen members are appointed for a three-year term.

Interested County residents should submit a completed application form. Applications are due back to the County Administrator’s Office, Room 106 on or before 4:30 pm on Thursday, March 26th, 2027. For more information, contact Sarah Zielke, ADRC Manager, at 715-726-7779.

Reminder last drive up distribution is today from 4 to 6pm at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Stanley. Yes i know the weather is good today and hopefully it will be as nice for our next distribution on April 2nd which will be the start of our in-person shopping for 2026.

Our next distribution is March 5th from 4 to 6pm. This will be our final drive up distribution for the 25/26 winter season.
Starting April 2nd we will have in person shopping. Stay warm and safe out there, we'll see you on the 5th of March.
