Deputy Clerk/Treasurer & Police Administrative Assistant

The City of Stanley is seeking a full-time Deputy Clerk/Treasurer & Police Administrative Assistant to support the Clerk/Treasurer's Office and Police Department. Responsibilities include accounting and bookkeeping, utility billing, tax collection, elections, licensing, records management, customer service, and administrative support for the Police Department.

Qualifications: Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, cash handling, customer service, or municipal administration preferred. Must be able to obtain Notary Public certification and be bonded for cash handling.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Starting Wage: $20-$22/hour, plus excellent benefits including WRS, health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, life insurance, and professional development opportunities.

We are excited to announce another donation to our Play Big, Dream Bigger playground fund! Thank you to the Stanley Lions Club for your generous $5,000 contribution!

The Lions Club is a great organization the does wonderful things for our community. Just a few examples are hosting the Watermelon Festival and vision tests at the school. They are always looking for new members. What a great way to give back to the community! If you are interested in becoming a member, reach out to one of the existing members. If you don’t know one, let us know and we will get you in touch with one.
