VOLUNTEER MEETING — JUNE 16 (please share this post)

The Independence Day Celebration is inviting any and all volunteers to join us for a meeting on Tuesday, June 16.

This event takes around 100 people every year to make happen — from setup, kids activities, bouncy houses, food, games, raffles, cleanup the next day, and everything in between.

This is truly one of those projects that takes an entire community to pull off.

We are asking anyone willing to help to come down, sign up, and pick the spot that works best for you. You can help with a simple 3.5-hour shift, or you can volunteer for as many hours or days as you would like.

We will most likely begin setup on Thursday, July 2, and cleanup will take place on Sunday, July 5.

Every single volunteer makes a difference. This celebration stays free and fun for families because people in this community step up.

Please join us June 16 and help us make this year’s Independence Day Celebration happen.

Stanley-Boyd's Junior Oriole Hoops Program is offering a Youth Basketball Camp focused on developing fundamental skills and building confidence. We encourage the players to have fun and challenge themselves while participating in drills, skills, competitions, and gameplay. All proceeds go back to the Junior Oriole Hoops Organization.

Come see us tomorrow, Friday, at 450W 4th Ave (community building) from 8am to 5pm. We still have lots of great stuff. Very willing to make a deal so we don’t have to pack it all up. Money goes towards our playground/splash pad project.
