DOORWAY TO DESTINY!! -- Please share!
We are starting another Doorway to Destiny session on February 17th! The classes are designed to guide and assist you in discovering and taking hold of all that God intended for you--your Destiny!
This session is called Change Your Life. It will be held in classrooms at Blue Ridge Community Church.
The program will consist of 10 classes on various spiritual, emotional, and practical life-skill topics. The goal for Phase I will be to introduce you to God's love and purpose for you, avoiding negative thinking, and to provide opportunities for change and setting goals that are appropriate for you.
Upon completion of this class, you will have the option of continuing to other courses which will focus on financial security, setting boundaries, parenting and communication skills. GRACE will provide all of the materials for each course, transportation, and childcare if needed. In addition, a meal will be provided for you and your family prior to each class. You will be surrounded and supported by a loving community. There will be rewards and incentives as you complete homework, attend classes and make progress! During the classes you can earn vouchers for paper products, a gas card, a haircut, or feminine products. You would get to decide what you would like to receive.

Requirements are that you attend sessions, complete assigned homework, and participate in discussions. You must be a Greene County resident to participate. We are excited to invite you to participate!

This Christmas season, GRACE was blessed to serve over 160 children and 100 seniors in Greene County through our Christmas Gift Program —and none of it would have been possible without the many churches, volunteers, donors, and community partners who stepped up with generous hearts.

Because of you, gifts were wrapped, prayers were lifted, and so many happy dreams came true. 🎄🎁

A special thank you to Paige, who beautifully coordinated the children’s program, Rachel, who led the senior program with care and compassion, and Debbie, our amazing Volunteer Coordinator who made sure drop-off and pick-up days ran smoothly.

We are so grateful to serve alongside people who truly live out Christ’s love. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” ❤️ What an incredible reminder of what happens when faith, love and community come together!! Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus this Christmas.

Our Thanksgiving Box Event was a blessing to the community!! A Huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers and sponsors who helped with our Thanksgiving Box Event! OVER 180 GREENE COUNTY FAMILIES received a generous Thanksgiving box of meal items and a large turkey. Many churches and local organizations participated in preparing overflowing boxes and laundry baskets of food for a family Thanksgiving meal. A special Thank you to April Gonzales, our Thanksgiving Box Coordinator, and her family. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!! We appreciate the American Legion Hall for letting us use their fantastic facility for these events!!
