From the demonstrations and ceremonies to the shared moments of learning and connection, this weekend was a powerful reminder of the strength of our community 🇺🇸

⏰ Ceremony begins at 10:00 AM (arrive by 9:30 AM for parking & seating)

🇺🇸 Veterans will be honored with the flying of the American Flag
📖 Names of sponsored veterans will be read
🙏 Prayers, history, and patriotic songs
🎺 Ceremony concludes with the playing of "Taps"

🍪 Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony

This event is free and open to the public - all are welcome to stand with us in honoring our heroes 🇺🇸

⚾ We are VERY excited to announce the Baseball Coach for the 2026 Season - Coach Simon Curry! ⚾👏

📚 Coach Curry is currently a history teacher at Blue Ridge School, where he also serves as an assistant baseball and football coach 🏈⚾. His passion for teaching, mentoring, and the game makes him a fantastic leader for our players!

⚾ Experience Highlights:
🔥 5 years of coaching at the high school and legion level
🏆 5+ years playing legion baseball
🥇 Part of a league championship team
🌎 Competed in Pennsylvania State and Regional playoffs
⚾ 13+ years of playing experience
🧢 Has played every position on the field

🇺🇸✈️ Attention Veterans - Honor Flight Mission Opportunity ✈️🇺🇸

Calling all Vietnam-era and pre-1975 veterans. A special opportunity is available to travel to Washington, D.C., and visit the memorials honoring your service. Honor Flight - Top of Virginia is organizing several missions in 2026 to bring veterans together for a meaningful day of remembrance, camaraderie, and respect. 🤝🇺🇸

The mission is simple: return veterans to their memorials with honor and dignity, and share the day with fellow service members who understand the journey. ❤️🤍💙

What is included:
🚌 Transportation to Washington, D.C.
🇺🇸 Visits to the World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam Veterans Memorial
🎖 Special access to the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetery
🍽 All meals provided
💲 Completely FREE for eligible veterans

Eligibility:
🇺🇸 Vietnam-era veterans or any veteran who served prior to May 15, 1975.
