All rescues have a sad story. We will share their joy and humor to find them homes.

In April 2024 we took in these three siblings from NC. This past week we were lucky enough they all three crossed paths again at the ranch and played the same as if they were still 4 months old. Hazel (now Maizie) and Chai are just here to visit. All of these dogs have had some rough starts, but look how happy they are now— and they get to share that joy with others. 🥹🥰 ?

Sweet Magnolia had a day out with her mini Murph at Patch Brewing Co. and not surprisingly got heaps of attention (bc she’s obviously the cutest giant chunk ever). She might need a hydraulic lift to get her out of the car, but she sure does love going along for the ride. She’s amazing with everyone and everything: cats, dogs, baby birds, men, children, etc. She has big mama energy and will corn cob anything put in front of her, but she’s also just a little baby herself (or would like to be treated like one anyway). ❤️

Adopted! Ella Bella had lots of medical hurdles to overcome (including basically an entire jaw reconstruction with a toolbox worth of hardware), but now she’s officially adopted and living it up with a couple equally as spoiled tiny dog siblings 😍🦄

Resident pest control, Elsie, is looking for a new employer where she can climb the corporate ladder. There just isn’t room for growth here and she’s ready to spread her wings. ❤️

Happy National Black Cat Day! We are a day late because we celebrated yesterday with our biggest black cat, Jerome, having surgery on his tear duct. He’s on the mend and feeling just as snuggly as ever (see last slide/video). We have 5 black cats currently available for adoption, if you’re looking to prepare for next year’s National Black Cat Day. Don’t procrastinate and be late to the game like we were; adopt now!

We had a great time at Tractor Supply’s Pet Adoption & Vendor Event today! First, we’d like to shoutout Vanessa Holder Parker who did an amazing job coordinating the event and making sure everything went off without a hitch👏

We are grateful for every single person who stopped by to learn more about Rad Ranch Rescue, make a donation, or give some love to our adoptable pups. Every conversation, share, follow, donation, and kind word means more to us than you know.

Then at the end of the event, Vanessa surprised us by announcing Rad Ranch Rescue was selected as the recipient of a Tractor Supply Adoption Grant!🎉 We’d like to give a huge thanks to Tractor Supply for supporting rescue organizations like ours so we can continue doing what we do. ❤️

We’d also like to shoutout Emily Hamilton and Jessica Mitchell , who made RRR’s attendance possible— setting up, wrangling dogs, bringing drinks, interacting with the community, and generally being exactly the people you’re glad to see show up on a busy event day. 🥤🙌

While today’s pups got plenty of attention, we still have many deserving dogs AND cats looking for homes. And if you can’t adopt, there are plenty of other ways to help: follow us, like and share our posts, tell your friends about our animals, foster, volunteer, donate. ❤️

For a small, foster-based rescue, every bit of support matters.

Thank you, Tractor Supply. And thank you to our wonderful rescue village. 💙

p.s. the pup’s cute adoption bandanas were made by the amazing Soul Dog Styles - Scrunchie Dog Bandanas☀️ ! 👀 and the pics of Bernadette and Scraggle are thanks to The HOWS Project
