The strength of Connecticut's cradle-to-career movement lies in collaboration.
Last week, leaders from Stamford Cradle to Career, Bridgeport Prospers, Danbury Collective, Norwalk ACTS, and Waterbury Bridge to Success joined communities from across the country at the 2026 StriveTogether Cradle to Career Convening in Baltimore. Together, we explored innovative strategies, strengthened partnerships, and exchanged ideas to improve outcomes for children, youth, and families.
A key takeaway from the convening was the importance of creating systems that are informed by community voice, driven by data, and centered on opportunity for every child. From early childhood through career success, meaningful change happens when communities work together toward a shared vision.
We're grateful for the opportunity to learn alongside national partners and return home with renewed energy for the work ahead across Connecticut.
Join us on October 29 for the CT Cradle to Career Coalition Convening, where partners from across the state will come together to advance kindergarten readiness and explore how we can ensure every child has a strong start.
