Calling all high school students! Are you ready to make a difference in your community?

Join The Rowan Center’s Student Advisory Board—a volunteer group made up of high school students of all genders who share insights, experiences, and perspectives on issues affecting young people today, including sexual violence prevention and safety in their communities.

Students meet monthly and work together to raise awareness about sexual violence prevention, support peer education, and strengthen conversations about safety and healthy relationships within their schools and communities. In addition, members help The Rowan Center shape prevention messaging and education efforts so they reflect the realities high school students are navigating.

Know an amazing local business that cares about supporting survivors? Invite them to sponsor The Rowan Center's Casino and Cocktails for a Cause! 🎲🎲

As a sponsor, you'll demonstrate your commitment to ending sexual violence by funding prevention education, advocacy, crisis counseling, long-term therapy for trauma survivors, and KidSafeHQ—our new online platform to help parents and caregivers better understand the risks children face today, so we can prevent harm before it occurs.

And as demand for our services continues to rise and public funding becomes increasingly limited and unpredictable, these sponsorships are more important than ever.

Together, we can make a lasting impact, one survivor, one classroom, and one community at a time. ❤️

At The Rowan Center's Trauma Recovery Practice, we believe that trauma-informed care means that the treatment you receive is unique to you, just as your experience of your trauma is. Our clinicians work from the understanding that trauma can affect different people differently, from how they feel in their bodies, how they relate to others, and how safe the world feels.

We offer long-term, trauma-informed therapy for adults 18+ in English, Spanish, and French. We're proud to accept a variety of insurance, including HUSKY, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Anthem.
