WJTA membership dues are holding steady for 2027, and renewal invoices are available now. Here is what WJTA members helped make possible in 2026:

- Launched the WJTA field mobile app, with field calculators, resources and toolbox talks free to every employee of member companies
- Published the Third Edition Orange Book, Industry Best Practices for the Use of High Pressure Waterjetting Equipment
- Selected for an FY 2026 OSHA Susan Harwood Training Grant to develop free, two-language training on working safely in vessels and permit-required confined spaces
- Began building a U.S. Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program for industrial cleaning workers
- Added member discounts on shipping, travel and fuel

Coming in 2027:

- Full deployment of WJTA's online learning platform, with reduced course pricing for members
- Hands-on training in Industrial Vacuum and Hydroexcavation & Combo Truck Operations
- An updated Blue Book and a new resource on UHP waterjetting and surface preparation
- 2027 WJTA Conference & Expo, December 7–9 in Orlando

WJTA is honored to be selected for OSHA's FY2026 Susan Harwood Training Grant Program. With this grant, WJTA will develop a new training program: Working Safely in Vessels: High Pressure Water and Industrial Vacuum Operations in Permit-Required Confined Spaces.

Industrial cleaning inside vessels often combines the hazards of three disciplines: high pressure waterjetting, industrial vacuuming, and confined space entry. Each carries its own risks, and together they demand careful planning and training.

The curriculum will build on WJTA's orange book and blue book, and when complete, it will be available in both English and Spanish.

The program will be piloted in several locations, with a public release planned for the third quarter of 2027.

The expertise, precision, and dedication of the waterjetting and industrial cleaning community are essential in some of the most demanding work environments. WJTA is proud to support this workforce with training, resources, and career pathways, including our apprenticeship program.

📢 Applications are now open for WJTA's Student Scholarship Program.

Since 2021, WJTA has awarded scholarships to help members and their families pursue higher education. The program is open to WJTA members and their spouses, dependents and grandchildren, and awards can be applied toward any field of study at an accredited college, university, community college or trade school.

Scholarship amounts:
🎓 Two $5,000 awards
🎓 Four $2,500 awards
🎓 Five $1,000 awards

Applications are being accepted now through March 31. If you're a WJTA member or know a member whose family could benefit we encourage you to apply or share this opportunity.
