It’s one year since the tornado ripped through our STL city, neighborhoods, homes, garden, program spaces. After the storm, the community mobilized to save ourselves. A year later much is left undone. PTSD is heavily present. May our and move us swiftly in the direction of full physical, emotional, and mental recovery for the beautiful humans and environment affected.

$261 provides 7 weeks of meals (breakfast, lunch, snack) for one youth
(30 youth = 30 opportunities to nourish and care for our young people)
$300 covers transportation for one field trip
(4 field trips that expand learning beyond the classroom)
$408 funds one week of leadership stipend for a youth mentor (ages 16–25)
(5 youth mentors x 7 weeks = building paid leadership pathways)
$357 supports one community workshop leader
(7 leaders sharing skills in food, poetry, martial arts, and more)
$932 funds one week of a Summer Co-Director
(7 weeks of consistent leadership and care)
$1,099 funds one week of our Summer Director
(7 weeks guiding the full experience)
$115 provides summer supplies for one youth
