Adoption Alert! STLEBR received a call from St Louis County Animal Care And Control about an older female Bulldog that was picked up as a stray in 100 degree weather in August. She was chipped and the owners told a story about her escaping from the house when the son opened the door...
No one was looking for her. Oh, they didn't want her back either...
We went up to meet her. Her name was Armani, but she didn't respond to it. She was looking for her people. She was on the thin side, unspayed and tail was questionable. Temperment was very solid. She went home with Kristina. The name she liked was Josephine! Then a visit with Dr. Ragan Wentzville Veterinary Clinic. Spay, amputation of the tail, nails, earl cleaning and a look at the teeth.
Linda was looking for a well mannered companion. Josephine was looking for a well mannered companion too! They met and the rest is history! Congratulations to Linda and Josephine on finding each other!
