The gala is one month away! Are you coming?

On November 7, we’ll be filling the Grand Ballroom at St. Louis Union Station Hotel for an evening we’ve been looking forward to all year!

There will be dinner, drinks, live music, and a few fun surprises along the way. But what we’re looking forward to most is filling the room with the people who make our work possible and who believe in making life a little easier for those facing memory changes.

The Memories & Melodies Gala a chance to come together to celebrate the people at the heart of our work and make a meaningful impact in their lives.

Private Home Care and Memory Care Home Solutions recently got together for a special Dinner with Directors to celebrate the end of summer and the work we’re able to do together for families facing dementia.

Our partnership goes beyond a good dinner! Through programs like GUIDE, our organizations work together to help families navigate dementia and connect with the resources they need. Private Home Care is a longtime supporter of MCHS, sponsoring many of our events and helping make our work possible.

The earlier you know, the more you can do.

Today is World Alzheimer’s Day, and this year’s focus is “The Earlier You Know, The More You Can Do: A Dementia Diagnosis Matters.”

An early dementia diagnosis gives families more time to understand what is happening, make informed decisions, plan for the future, and connect with the right resources.

At Memory Care Home Solutions, we see what happens when families have that opportunity.

A dementia diagnosis matters, but it doesn’t tell a family everything they need to know.

Knowing what you’re facing helps ask the right questions, make informed decisions, and find the right help. That’s where MCHS comes in.

Through Dementia Navigation, we help families understand their loved one’s needs, identify priorities, and create a plan for what comes next.

The 2026 Care of the Older Adult Conference is coming to St. Louis September 18 & 19!

MCHS Education Manager Elizabeth Reinberg, MSW, LCSW, CDCS will be joining the Guardianship & Ethics Panel on Friday morning for a conversation about the real world challenges that can come with guardianship and care.

The panel will look at how different roles intersect and how professionals can communicate and collaborate when navigating difficult cases.

This is a great opportunity to gain practical insight you can bring back to your own work.
