This is a beautiful set of two Jockey mugs from Swank’s “At the Post” series of ceramics. Each mug measures 5 ½” high x 3 ½” base and 2 ¾” diameter at the top. They feature some of the most iconic racetracks of the era – some of which, sadly, no longer exist. The handles are jockeys! They are in excellent vintage condition.

The starting bid is a bargain for this set. They usually sell for $50 or more each.

We have HOLLYWOOD PARK gear in the upcoming Bright Futures Farm Racing Memorabilia Auction run by Special Horses!

You don’t see these very often. This is a vintage Hollywood Park windbreaker with the Twin Spires logo on the back. Jacket is a very roomy men’s size M (fits like Ladie’s L). It has been worn, but is in great condition with no nicks or tears. Chest measures 25 ½” across (51” around). Distance from nape of neck to bottom is 29”.

Photos show wear, and you can probably remove it with a gentle hand washing. Bev has removed soil like this before with no issue.

These are two win photos of Hard Spun (Danzig – Turkish Tryst by Turkoman). Both were taken by Glenn Smith, a “fan” of the sport, so you won’t find these photos anywhere else.

The first is a shot of Hard Spun (Danzig – Turkish Tryst by Turkoman) winning the 2007 King’s Bishop Stakes over First Defence. Great shot. Measures 8” x 10.”

The second is a shot of Hard Spun winning the 2007 Kentucky Cup Classic (G2) over Street Sense and is autographed by his jockey, Mario Pino. This photo measures 8” x 12.”

We have GOOD JOURNEY in the upcoming Bright Futures Farm Racing Memorabilia Auction Run by Special Horses!

This is a shoe worn by Good Journey (Nureyev – Chimes of Freedom by Private Account) while he was at Magali Farm in at Santa Ynez in 2008. It was given to Sharla Sanders (former Ops Manager at Doug O’Neill Racing Stable), when she visited there in 2008. Bev acquired it directly from Sharla.

Good Journey won the Citation Handicap two years in a row and the Atto Mile. At age 6 he came in 3rd in the Breeders’ Cup Mile. He retired to Magali in 2007, then moved to Cornerstone Stud in Southern Australia where he was a favorite of everyone who worked with him. He had a good long life at Cornerstone and passed in April 2023.
