Sunday Salaam: Pentecost Season & AANHPI Month, from Psalm 89:11, 14-16

The heavens are Yours; the earth also is Yours.
The world and everything in it—You founded them.
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; faithful love and truth go before You.
Happy are the people who know the joyful shout; Yahweh, they walk in the light of Your presence. They rejoice in Your name all day long, and they are exalted by Your righteousness.

Sunday Salaam: Pentecost Sunday & AANHPI Month, from 2 Corinthians 3:16-18

Whenever a person turns to the Lord, the cover is removed from their heart. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. So then, with uncovered faces, we can see and reflect the glory of the Lord, and become transformed into that same glorious image, just as the Lord, the Spirit.

Sunday Salaam: Ascension Season & AANHPI Month, from Psalm 89:5-8

Yahweh, the heavens praise Your wonders,
Your faithfulness also,
in the assembly of the holy ones.
For who in the skies can compare?
Who among the heavenly beings is like Yahweh?
God is greatly revered among the holy ones,
more awe-inspiring than all others.
Who is strong like the Lord?

Sunday Salaam: Resurrection Season & AANHPI Month & Mother’s Day, from Psalm 139:13-14

Creator, it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made! Your works are wonderful, and I know this very well. My body has never been hidden from you.

is back! You can donate now, and until 10am on Friday May 8th!

Please donate to   to invest in our mission to connect people of faith to Black-led organizations and campaigns, confront religious supremacy and bigotry in all its forms, and bring healing and power to our community. Since 2014, we have planned and partnered with organizations and congregations in amplifying diasporic arts, history and culture, youth education and policy advocacy, community healing, Black Trans justice, protest actions and building radical political power. We are guided by Black womanist theology and Black Q***r feminism to mobilize and partner with the people to lead the charge for transformative change in our own communities, so we can establish social, educational, and economic mobility. From our Fatal State Violence Response Team to our Community Healing Fund, we are committed to shifting resources to bring healing and justice to our community.

Donate any time today at GiveSTLDay.org/FFJ, and please support our partner orgs too:

Sunday Salaam: Resurrection Season, from Acts 2:31-33

He was not left in Hades, and his flesh did not experience decay. God has resurrected Jesus! We are all witnesses of this. Therefore, since He has been exalted to the right hand of God and has received from the Creator the promised Holy Spirit, he has poured out what you both see and hear.

Sunday Salaam: Resurrection Season, from Psalm 23:4 & 6

Even when I go through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil,
for You are with me…
Surely goodness and mercy
will follow me
all the days of my life.
And I shall dwell
in the house of the Lord
forever.

Sunday Salaam: Resurrection Season, from Psalm 111:1-3

Praise the Living God!
I will give thanks to the One God with my whole heart in the assembly of the upright, in the congregation.
Great are the works of God, contemplated by all who delight in them. All that God does is splendid and majestic, and The Lord’s righteousness stands forever.

Sunday Salaam: Resurrection Season, from 1 Peter 1:3-5

Praise the God of our Lord Jesus Christ. In God’s great mercy, we receive a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for us. We are being protected by God’s power through faith.
