🎉 Meet the LPC Designer of the Year: Part 1 of 4

Congratulations to Ryann Kats of Angus Media, LPC's Designer of the Year!

Q: What does being named LPC Designer of the Year mean to you?
"It's a way to share my work with others. I have been working for Angus Media for just over 4 years. The clients in my submission are some of the few who trusted me with creative freedom. It's validating that other people appreciate projects that I put a lot of thought and effort into."

Q: Any shoutouts to people who helped make this work happen?
"My teammates Liz and Savanna are there for me every step of the way. They cheer me on when I have created a new look, they push me when they know my work isn't finished, and they commiserate with me when my favorite option wasn't chosen once again by a client."

LPC annually inducts one of its distinguished leaders into the Hall of Fame for meritorious service to the Livestock Publications Council. This year's inductee is a friend to many in LPC

Raised on a family ranch and active in FFA, Dr. J. Scott Vernon began his career as an award-winning high school agriculture teacher before earning his Ph.D. in agricultural education and leadership from Texas A&M University. He spent his 40-year teaching career as a professor of agricultural communication at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, earning the Distinguished Professor Award and two-time Advisor of the Year honors, and mentored thousands of students who went on to leadership roles across the agriculture industry.
