Christmas time of 2022 a 7 year old boy asked his mom "what do the homeless lay their heads on. We have pillows what do they have?" Since then he has sparked this mission of providing pillows for our local homeless. We would like to include other items as well but his dream is to pass out 100 pillows in November.
The list of what he would like to add to the pillows is listed below.
Pillows: 12x12 or 12x20 preferred but any size accepted
Heavy blanket or sleeping bag
Bag to carry items in (duffle bag or backpack)
Reusable water bottle with soap and bottle brush
Wipes
Socks
Extras we would like to include if possible:
Food like peanut butter and crackers
Grooming kit in plastic bag: brush, comb, razor, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, cologne
First aid kit
A 7 year old boy, Maverick, has a dream and desire to pass out pillows to the homeless in Springtown Texas and surrounding areas.
