Much has been said of the caring generosity of the late Dolly Parton.

One thing that has come to light, was the fact that for the past 35 years was the bald eagle and raptor sanctuary she founded and helped ran.
It is nice to know she cared for and ran a refuge for our wildlife who needed help.

Bald eagles from Dollywood’s Eagle Mountain Sanctuary, which have been housed there since 1991, will have a new permanent home at the American Eagle Foundation’s conservation campus in Kodak, Tennessee.
