🎉 What an amazing day at Legislative Advocacy Day in Salem! 🎉

Today, Ethan and Wynnie had the wonderful opportunity to meet former Oregon Governor Kate Brown while advocating alongside The Arc Lane County team.

Wynnie, who serves on The Arc Lane County's Board of Directors and is a dedicated self-advocate, and Ethan, who is also a passionate self-advocate, spent the day helping ensure that the voices of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are heard by our legislators and community leaders.

They were joined by our Executive Director, Pam Ring, and our Director of Marketing & Communications, Laura Dahill, as they advocated for policies and supports that help create a more inclusive and accessible Oregon for everyone.

We are incredibly proud of Ethan and Wynnie for sharing their experiences, speaking up for their community, and demonstrating the power of self-advocacy. Your voices matter, and your leadership inspires us all! 💙

If you get intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) services in Oregon, you make an Individual Support Plan (ISP) that’s just for you. The ISP helps you plan the good life that you want to live. Your ISP talks about:

✅ What’s important to you
✅ What you want to do in life
✅ Who supports you and how they do this
✅ What services and supports you want

You guide the planning process. Your services coordinator or personal agent will help, too. You can change your plan if your life or goals change.
