Following a labor strike that began on June 2, 2026, Square One leadership have announced that an agreement has been reached. Early education staff, van drivers and food service workers will return to work on Friday, June 12, 2026.

As Square One leaders continue to negotiate with the union representing the non-profit agency’s striking teachers, drivers and food service workers, President & CEO Dawn DiStefano has issued a statement to provide the community with an update on this important matter.

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our 2026 Family Services Program participants! 🎓🎉

Congratulations to all of the graduates from our Healthy Families, Parents as Teachers, Learn & Earn, FIRST Steps Together, and HiSET programs on this amazing accomplishment. We are so proud of everything you’ve achieved and grateful to have shared this special day with you and your families.
