That's a lot of running, determination, and Blue Jay spirit! We're so proud of these students (and teachers!) for going the extra mile (or three!).

Centennial Elementary’s Annual Trunk or Treat is coming up!
Friday, October 23rd
5:00–6:30 p.m.
Centennial Elementary Playground
Get ready for a spooky good time filled with decorated trunks, costumes, and LOTS of candy!

But first… the Candy Monster is getting hungry!
Candy Monster will be making his appearance every school day after school to collect candy donations for our FREE Trunk or Treat event. He’s especially hungry this year and is looking forward to trying all the delicious candy choices you bring!
Help us fill his belly and make sure we have plenty of treats for all our little ghosts and goblins.

Centennial Elementary’s Annual Trunk or Treat is just around the corner, and we need families to help make it a spooky good time!
Want to host a trunk?
Decorate your vehicle, dress up, bring some candy, and help us create a fun Halloween experience for our Centennial students!
You can make your trunk as simple or as creative as you’d like — the kids LOVE seeing all the fun decorations!

🏃 Centennial’s Jog-a-Thon is Friday, October 2!

Students brought home their pledge envelopes today. Next Friday, they’ll walk, jog, or run laps during the school day to raise money for field trips, school assemblies, and special events.

You can help by asking family and friends to pledge a flat amount or an amount per lap, donating at cespto.org/jog, or volunteering on the day of the event (link in comments). Every contribution helps, and every student can participate whether or not they raise money!

Please return pledge envelopes by Tuesday, October 6. Let’s cheer on our Blue Jays! 💙

🏃 ¡El Jog-a-Thon de Centennial será el viernes 2 de octubre!

Los estudiantes llevaron a casa sus sobres para las promesas de donación hoy. El próximo viernes caminarán, trotarán o correrán vueltas durante el horario escolar para recaudar fondos para excursiones, asambleas escolares y eventos especiales.

Pueden ayudar invitando a familiares y amistades a prometer una cantidad fija o una cantidad por vuelta, donando en cespto.org/jog, o siendo voluntarios el día del evento (enlace en los comentarios). ¡Cada donación ayuda, y todos los estudiantes pueden participar aunque no recauden dinero!

E-Bikes vs. E-Motos: Know the Difference! 🚴‍♂️💨

Did you know not all electric-powered bikes are legally e-bikes? 🤔 E-motos can look like e-bikes but can't be ridden on public streets or paths. 🚫

Here's the difference:
• E-Bikes: 3 classes, fully functional pedals, up to 28 mph.
• E-Motos: Electric motorcycles, can go over 20 mph with a throttle, not allowed on public streets.

Where can you ride?
• E-Bikes: City streets, bike lanes, not on sidewalks. Note: Willamalane only allows Class 1 & 2 e-bikes on multi-use paths and trails, NO Class 3. Designated mountain bike trails allow Class 1 ONLY.
• E-Motos: Only on private property.
