Supporting access to justice through fundraising for stipends, which are provided to law students who take unpaid summer positions in the public interest sector. Our mission is to support the next generation of public service leaders! Through our fundraising, we award $5,000 summer stipends to students who accept public interest positions that otherwise would be unpaid. These stipends ensure that
students receive the practical legal education they need to be strong advocates for under-represented communities and that nonprofits and the people they serve have law clerks. All students enrolled at UO Law with a qualifying position and who volunteer at least ten hours for OLSPIF are eligible to apply for a stipend.
