Wish I May

Wish I May Follow us at Crosslines Community Outreach! Wish I May” provides ‘Happy Birthdays’ to underprivileged children in Greene.

The children we reach are children whose families are experiencing extreme financial difficulties and find it impossible to provide even the smallest birthday celebration. By partnering with local agencies we provide parents with a birthday bag packed specifically for their child. Their bag includes a cake mix, icing, candles, birthday card, age appropriate toys, books, gift wrap and tissue paper. Our goal is to set the parent/guardian up to be their child's superhero.

🚧 The road for this page ends June 12 as we bring all of our programs together on the Crosslines Community Outreach page.

The good news? The mission, stories, resources and opportunities you care about aren't going anywhere. They're simply moving to one place where it's easier to stay connected.

👉 Follow Crosslines Community Outreach before June 12 to continue the journey with us!

Some things are simply better together.
Peanut butter and jelly. Communities and connection.
We believe people are best supported when programs, services and neighbors work together. That’s why we’re bringing all of our content together on the Crosslines Community Outreach page.

The Wish I May page will be archived June 12.

Books Needed for Birthday Bags 📚
We’re currently running low on books for the birthday bags we prepare for kids in our community, and we’re working to fully restock for the months ahead.
Books are one of the items we intentionally include for children from babies through elementary school. They offer meaningful learning benefits long after the birthday celebration is over, and they are something both kids and parents truly value.
If you browse our Amazon Wish List, you’re bound to see titles you loved as a child or books your own kids already enjoy. We keep the list updated with stories children are excited to read.
If you’d like to help, you can shop our Amazon Wish List and send a book directly to us. Each one goes straight into a birthday bag for a child in our community.
