A FAST YES! 🙌🏾🏗️

Tonight marked another exciting step forward for Bransford and Phase 1 of the Bransford Community Center!

Bransford Board President Pastor Robert Gardner, alongside Morton Buildings representative Mr. Addam, presented the preliminary plans and renderings for Phase 1.

Following the presentation, Alderman Bobby Trotter made a strong motion to move forward with our request. Alderman Holliman quickly seconded the motion, and when it came time to vote, there was no hesitation!

When the results were revealed, we saw YES across the board! 🙌🏾

Thank you to the Mayor and Aldermen of Springfield, as well as the Bransford board members and community members who came out to show their support tonight! Most importantly Thanks to God!

As we stated earlier, our commitment is to keep YOU, the community, informed and up to date as we continue moving through each step of Phase 1.

There is still work ahead, but tonight marked another important step forward!

The Bransford Board, alongside Morton Buildings, will present a long-awaited update on the Bransford Community Center to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen!

We’ll be sharing preliminary plans and renderings for Phase 1, along with an anticipated timeframe for completion. After years of vision, prayer, planning, and perseverance, we’re excited to show our community what’s ahead in phase 1! 🏗️

Soil Testing Happening on the Grounds 🧱🪏👷🏾‍♂️🚧

For years, many have wondered…. even whispered….about what lies beneath these grounds. Today, we’re finally getting a glimpse of what’s actually underneath the land we’ve been looking at, walking on, and parking on for so many years.

And as you can see, there’s a lot beneath the surface.

Things pushed over. Things pushed down. Some buried deep, while others take just one dig with the excavator and BOOM—pieces of broken buildings.

And if we’re being truthful, that sounds a lot like what this community has felt like for a long time.

Pushed over. Pushed down. Taking hits. Running into the unexpected. Yet, STILL HERE! 💪🏾

So today, we’re trusting God for GOOD GROUND as we wait on the results of this testing!

We extend our sincere thanks to the City of Springfield, Morton Buildings, and their representative, Mr. Addam, who has been working closely with Bransford Board President Pastor Robert Gardner and the entire board as they continue working diligently to get this phase of the project off to a beautiful start.

And to the people of this community—we know it has been a long time coming. Thank you for your patience, your support, and your prayers. This moment belongs to all of us, and it is our intention to keep you updated every step of the way as we walk through this journey together.

The ground may have a history, but we believe the future is being built right here. ❤️

🚧 BIG NEWS FOR BRANSFORD! 🚧

After years of waiting, planning, and believing, we’re excited to share that we’re one step closer to seeing a Bransford Community Center become a reality!

The Bransford Board has received a proposal for Phase One, which includes developing preliminary building plans, architectural renderings, and conducting soil testing to determine the best location for the future community center.

If approved, these initial steps will help move the project forward and prepare for the next phases of engineering, permitting, and construction planning.

While there is still work ahead and additional approvals are needed, this is a major milestone in a project our community has been anticipating for years.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support this vision. Progress doesn’t always happen overnight, but today we’re encouraged because we’re moving in the right direction.

Please continue to keep this project, our board, and our city leaders in your thoughts and prayers as we work together to build something that will serve generations to come.

Bransford’s future is taking shape, one step at a time. ❤️
