There's SO much good stuff happening in Robertson County this summer, but this one has to be on the Top 10 List!

This year, Payne Chevrolet is celebrating an incredible 100 YEARS in business. For a century, the Payne family has helped generations of Robertson Countians find their next vehicle, build relationships, and support the community they call home.

They recently marked the occasion with a ribbon cutting surrounded by employees, family, friends, and a collection of beautiful antique cars that served as a reminder of just how far they've come. We were so honored to be a part of it. It still makes us smile!

There was confetti. There were hot dogs and hamburgers. There were awards, stories, handshakes, and plenty of cake.

Congratulations to the Payne family and Phillip Mathis on this remarkable milestone!

We don't normally introduce new Chamber members by sharing their words instead of ours.

But after reading a few posts from Amy Gleaves,Life Coach, we decided her words were better than anything we could gleam.

"I had a purpose before everybody had an opinion." "Consistency isn't the absence of stops. It's the willingness to keep coming back."

Those two thoughts seem to sit at the heart of Amy's work.

As a life coach, she helps people reconnect with their purpose, move beyond the expectations of others, and find the courage to begin again, whether that's in business, relationships, health, or life itself.

One thing we noticed while reading her writing is that Amy doesn't pretend growth is easy. She talks honestly about setbacks, second chances, and the reality that most meaningful change comes after many imperfect attempts.

"The people who finally make a change last are almost never the ones who got it right on the first try. They are the ones who got it wrong eleven times and were willing to get it wrong a twelfth."

That message resonated with us, and we have a feeling it will resonate with many of you, too. Please help us welcome Amy Gleaves to the Chamber!

This time last week, we were elbow deep in pottery paint at the Chamber's Women in Business at The Hot Spot Studios - Springfield, TN!

This event, hosted by The Credit Union for Robertson County was a creative, sell-out crowd. We painted berry bowls, figurines, platters, flower pots, dishes, and even one precious tea set. (Keep your eyes peeled for the finished product post!)

Thank you to all these beautiful ladies for attending and supporting this brand new Springfield business. (They are located in next to Ichiban's!)

Many businesses belong to more than one Chamber of Commerce. (Shocking, right?)

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Aaron Slate considered joining the Chamber located on Main Street, U.S.A. at Disney, but unfortunately this one is a facade.

But what’s really cool is that Walt Disney understood the importance of Chambers of Commerce. He designed Main Street, U.S.A. to reflect the vibrant downtowns that Chambers of Commerce have spent generations supporting.

We love this sentiment.

And we love that Aaron took a few minutes out of his vacation to send us this photo. Once a Chamber person, always a Chamber person.

We are celebrating right alongside Dog Bandana Co. for their 6th Anniversary! That's six years of producing the cutest and swaggiest dog bandanas for your four-legged children!

Here's a heartfelt message from Haley - the bandana boss lady: "It’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for this journey. Every order, every share, every kind comment, and every pup photo you’ve sent our way has helped us get here. Running a small business is filled with highs, lows, lessons, and milestones, and we’re incredibly thankful that you’ve chosen to support us through all of it. I never take that support for granted."

As a small thank you for helping Dog Bandana reach this milestone, every order placed on their website this month will include a special anniversary scratch-off card with an extra surprise offer that can be used on a future purchase. 🎉

It’s also the perfect time to shop your summer favorites, including our Pride collection, July 4th styles, and the 6 brand-new scrunchies that just arrived on the site!
