🖤💙🖤💙🖤
One year ago, September 17, 2025, our department and our community experienced a loss that forever changed us.
Detective Sergeant Cody Becker, Detective Mark Baker, and Detective Isaiah Emenheiser gave their lives in service to others. Today, we pause to remember not only how they died, but more importantly, how they lived.
Cody, Mark, and Isaiah were far more than police officers. They were husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, friends, mentors, and trusted partners. They were men who dedicated themselves to their families, their fellow officers, and the communities they proudly served. Their personalities, their laughter, their friendship, and their presence remain deeply missed throughout the Northern York County Regional Police Department.
Over the past year, there have been countless moments when we have felt their absence. There have also been countless reminders of the impact they made during their lives. Their names are spoken. Their stories are shared. Their example continues to guide us.
For the families who carry the greatest burden of this loss, please know that you remain in our thoughts, in our hearts, and forever a part of our police family. No passage of time can diminish the sacrifice made on September 17, nor can it lessen our responsibility to honor and remember these three extraordinary men.
To our community and to the law enforcement family that stood beside us during our darkest days and throughout the year that followed, we remain deeply grateful for your compassion, support, and continued remembrance.
Today, we remember.
Detective Sergeant Cody Michael Becker
Detective Mark Edward Baker
Detective Isaiah Emenheiser
Their service will never be forgotten. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. And they will never be forgotten.
Forever Three.
