One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that strong women spend far less time asking for permission than people think.
They’re usually too busy doing the work.
They’re learning.
Growing.
Building.
Failing.
Trying again.
Showing up.
I’ve never believed respect should be given automatically because of someone’s gender.
I’ve always believed it should be earned through character.
Through integrity.
Through consistency.
Through how you treat people when nobody is watching.
The women I admire most aren’t trying to prove they’re better than men.
They’re simply proving they’re capable.
Capable of leading.
Capable of learning.
Capable of carrying responsibility.
Capable of standing back up when life knocks them down.
And maybe that’s the lesson.
You don’t have to convince everyone you belong.
You don’t have to win every argument.
You don’t have to seek approval from people who already made up their minds.
You just have to keep showing up.
Keep growing.
Keep doing the work.
Because eventually your actions will say more than your words ever could.
