An enormous Thank You to all Stateside Volunteers who came out to help us sort through packed trailers last Saturday. Special thanks go out to Double W Farms transport division for assisting us w/ their heavy equipment. For those who couldn't make it, there are days of sorting ahead. NOTE: We WILL NOT be working Saturday the 19th. Watch this page for future posted dates. Our Hope and prayers continue for Haiti and for MIVO's eventual return. TY. "If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." Ps. 139: 9-10.

Hello to our beloved MIVO family. It is with great sadness that The MIVO Foundation shares the loss of one of our true brothers in Christ. Dr. Etienne's brother, Yvon Etienne transitioned to his heavenly Father, yesterday, June 26, 2026. Yvon was born January 06, 1964 in Haiti. He is the eldest brother of the 3 Etienne boys. We are truly saddened as for those who are not aware, Yvon was our "boots on the ground" in Haiti. Not one team could have successfully arrived and departed without Yvon's faithful assistance. He helped Gracia to establish and build the clinic and once it was built, he maintained the workings from 2014 to 2021 and beyond. He arranged all of our transports from the airports to and from the clinic. Before we had the local restaurant of " Love to Love " he ensured we had appropriate food.
Out of Gatorade!!!! "let's call Yvon." Need a ride to Gonaives, " just call Yvon.". He was true to sacrificially be available to our clinic and to our cause often driving miles and miles each day to supply our needs. When we could not get through, Yvon made it through with paychecks for our clinic staff. And there is so much more. Please join us in praying for his family: Marie, his dear wife and two daughters, Mayve and Marlyse and the entire Etienne family. May they be comforted. Pictures of Yvon are few as he never desired to be in the limelight. He just went about the business, in strength and fortitude provided by his Savior. May the Lord now welcome a servant to the kingdom as no other has ever been. He will be there, no doubt, serving quietly, behind the scenes with a sweat on his brow and a smile on his face.

An extremely productive day for The MIVO Foundation. So thankful for our team who came out to help: Maryanna, Mark, Bob, Lelia, Donna, Simone, Uju, Lawrence, and Jen!!! Sad to have to dispose of some items yet also found some treasures to be donated to local non-profits. We also have begun compiling non-perishables to be shipped at a later date to the clinic in Haiti. Feel free to join us next Saturday for a repeat appearance at 1820 Jefferson Road, Spring Grove. We will be working 8 -10 filling another dumpster.
