September is Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Uterine Cancer Awareness Month.

These observances encourage women to learn about cancers of the female reproductive system, understand their personal and family health history and pay attention to changes in their bodies.

Annual checkups provide an important opportunity to discuss your health, ask questions and share any symptoms or concerns with your healthcare provider. Between visits, do not ignore changes that persist or feel unusual for you.
Awareness starts with a conversation. Schedule your annual checkup, encourage the women in your life to do the same and help us bring greater attention to gynecologic cancers this September.
