The application deadline for the 2026 WV Black Walnut Festival Pageants is Saturday - June 27th! 👑🌿

Queen, Teen & Pre-Teen contestants will compete on August 1st.

The JR Royalty Pageant (Baby Miss, Toddler Miss, Little Miss & JR Miss divisions) will be held on August 2nd.

We are so excited to welcome another incredible group of contestants to our stage in August!

Congratulations to our Queen, Lakyn Campbell! 👑

Lakyn was selected as 3rd Runner-Up from a field of 92 contestants this past weekend at the West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant. She is truly a class act—well spoken, poised, and personable. Lakyn has a bright future ahead and will continue to be a wonderful representative for our festival. Congratulations, Lakyn! We are so proud of you. ✨

Save the dates: Our 2026 Pageants are tentatively scheduled for August 1–2, 2026.

The proceeds from the BWF Car Show goes toward allowing more children to participate in this event. So when you register your car in the future, please know your registration fee of a donation is helping children in our community during the holidays!

New to this year’s festival, we chose a vendor at the BWF Craft Show with the best display. This year’s winner was Betty Meadows, with a display of handmade Christmas decor.
