Join us for the Sparta Fire Department Fundraiser & Family Fun Day at Sparta Lanes on Sunday, August 16th at 1:00 PM!

Gather your family, friends, coworkers, or neighbors and reserve a lane for an afternoon of fun—all while supporting the dedicated men and women of the Sparta Fire Department.

🎳 $120 per lane
👟 Includes 2 hours of bowling + shoe rental
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Up to 6 people per lane
Even if you're not bowling, there's something for everyone!

🚒 A REAL Sparta Fire Truck for kids to explore

It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our longest auxiliary member and friend, Maureena LaPrelle. Maureena was a dedicated member of Sparta Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for over 50 years, holding many different positions in our organization including President for many years. She also held board positions for the county auxiliary. We are all extremely thankful for the time she spent volunteering for our department and community being a role model to us and others. Maureena was an active member up until her passing always doing what she could to help, eager and excited to pass down her knowledge to anyone who wanted to learn. She will be missed by many member's of the fire community and by her auxiliary. Maureena we will continue to serve our community with as much loyalty and strength as you did.

The Sparta Fire Department and the Sparta FD Ladies Auxiliary would like to thank the Sparta Junior Women's Club for a fantastic day of community at this year's Sparta Day. We would also like to thank the community for stopping by our tables and apparatus, allowing us to show our young people a way to give back in their coming years. Your children could be our department's future! 🇺🇸
