𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟳𝘁𝗵 | 𝟱 𝗽𝗺 Join us as we gather to recognize National Gun Violence Day and turn Sparta Township’s Main Street Orange by tying ribbons on the lamp posts. We will begin promptly at 5pm in front of Sparta Town Hall. Wear orange for a photo op! This is a great opportunity to get your kids involved in the movement. Ribbon will be provided.
𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 | 𝟳 𝗽𝗺 We are honored to share Sparta Township is recognizing the month of June as Gun Violence Awareness Month! Join the Sussex County Moms Demand Action group at the Sparta Town Council meeting to witness the proclamation and support gun violence prevention in our community. Please be sure to wear something orange for our photo op!
Last year’s proclamation led to the inspiration for the Sparta Police Department to join a program to hand out free gun locks. Let’s use this year as an opportunity to further conversation and expand visibility in the program!
