Finances/Money Problems rose to the surface as the greatest need in our 2026 Community Needs Assessment... 43 PERCENT of the 250 folks we surveyed/interviewed said that they struggle to pay their bills and purchase basic essentials for their household. And, in case you're wondering, over half of them are employed/working and 30 percent are retired.

The little ones at Little Sunshine's Daycare and at Levels and Legacy Daycare were excited to receive our Health and Safety Kits last week. Each kit included an assortment of coloring/activity books on prevention and safety, crayons, hand wipes, toothbrush/paste, bandaids, healthy snacks, and more. We're always glad to help support our amazing childcare and early education partners! 🩷

Last week we delivered our Kindness Kits to Open Door Christian Homes, the House of Grace, and sidewalk pantries in Adel and Sparks. Kits were packed with granola bars, crackers, peanut butter, hand wipes, body wipes, toothbrush/paste, soap, and lots of valuable information including a Community Resource Guide. Just sharing alittle extra kindness... 💚

Yesterday it was Jackie Shoemaker (Executive Director of South Central GA American Red Cross) who spent time with our Director discussing cross-county and regional disaster and recovery plans.

These are some of the smiling faces at our partnership meeting today where we released the findings of our Annual Community Needs Assessment. This new data helps us to better understand current community conditions around financial problems, mental health, substance misuse, food insecurity, and more (so that we can work together to create better solutions). And some lucky partners received new books on recovery, trauma, and wellness. 💜💚💜

Thanks to Adel Police Department for including us in their Car Seat Safety Event yesterday. Our Community Ambassador (Tammie Bobo) distributed our Safety Kits to all families--bags packed with activity/coloring books on health, safety, and prevention, crayons, hand wipes, bandaids, toothbrush/paste, granola bars, snacks, and other goodies. We were glad to be included 🩵

Our director Zoe Myers was honored to present the "Four Realms of Health and Substance Abuse" to 40 community leaders, health professionals, and residents at the TRUST Partnership Meeting in Waycross today. TRUST is a tri-county partnership where leaders are working together across Ware, Pierce, and Brantley Counties to improve systems for prevention, rescue, treatment, and recovery. We are proud to be connected with partners who work across county lines to make a difference! 💜
