Mrs. Rebecca Boatner will be on campus September 15 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM to complete athletic physicals for our student-athletes.
We want to ensure that all 2nd–12th grade athletes participating in basketball, baseball, cheer, and tennis have a current physical on file for this school year.
Students will need to:
• Stop by the front office to pick up a physical form.
• Complete the form at home and bring it back on physical day.
• Bring $25 cash for the physical.
Please send these items with your student on the morning of September 15.
If your child already has a current athletic physical on file for this school year, they will not need to receive another physical.
Thank you for helping us keep our athletes healthy, prepared, and ready for a great season!

🦸‍♂️💛 Not all superheroes wear capes. 💛🦸‍♀️

These young warriors show us what true courage looks like. They fight battles most of us can’t imagine with strength, resilience, and hope that inspires everyone around them. Their parents, siblings, and loved ones are heroes too, demonstrating unwavering faith, sacrifice, and love through every challenge.

As we celebrate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we remember that every child fighting cancer is a superhero, every survivor is a champion, and every family is a testament to incredible strength.

Today, we wore gold in their honor. 💛

Mrs. Darby's 4th & 5th ELA class has been reading narrative text, analyzing point of view, character, and plot. They have also been learning how to write a narrative essay.

This week, they put their skills into action with a "Football Themed Writing."

Through their game day experience, students were able to write descriptive beginnings.
They applied their knowledge of point of view by drawing cards of different members of the game to tell their version of the story.

They have their game day plan, and now it's time to draft before "kick-off" on Friday! 🏈📝

Our students showed up in gold and yellow to help raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and our hearts were so full seeing everyone participate.
We were especially honored to celebrate one of our own superheroes, Zeke Cain, whose strength, courage, and victory over cancer continue to inspire our school family. 💛
Thank you to all of our students, staff, and families who joined us in wearing gold today. Every yellow shirt, ribbon, and smile served as a reminder that we stand with children and families affected by childhood cancer.

We’re kicking off our Penny War THIS week, and we’re putting a little friendly competition to work for our school! The goal is simple: collect as many pennies as possible for your class... while strategically sabotaging the competition. 👀

💰 Pennies & paper money = POINTS!
💣 Silver coins = NEGATIVE points!

So, bring your pennies. Bring your change. Bring your questionable amount of quarters. 😏

And if you see another class getting a little too comfortable at the top of the leaderboard...Well. You know what to do. 😜
